MPPT charge controllers

output of the solar panels to the battery voltage to
insure maximum charge (amps). MPPT charge controllers
are more expensive that PWM charge controllers,
but the advantages are worth the cost. If you can afford
it, you should definitely use an MPPT charge controller.
Apollo T80 - The TurboCharger™
T80 integrates Maximum Power Point Tracking,
battery charge management, state of
charge information and communications into a single
device. With 80 amps continuous output, the T80 will
process up to 5300 Watts of PV power - the largest capacity
in the industry by over 30%. The TurboCharger™
T80 produces full rated power without temperature derating
up to 40oC. This means that full power output can be
maintained even in extreme temperature conditions, when
it is most needed. The efficient MPPT technology dramatically
reduces the cost of a PV system by reducing the number
of PV panels required, eliminating the need for heavy
gauge wiring, and increasing the life of the storage
