Xantrex TR Series Inverter Chargers,
Xantrex XW Hybrid inverter chargers
Inverter chargers combine an inverter
and a battery charger in one
complete unit. They can be used with a solar
PV array or wind turbine power system or when
another there is another AC power source available,
such as a diesel generator or utility power. They can
operate as uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). These
intelligent devices can behave either as an inverter
or a charger and can switch between one and other as
required. Inverter chargers can be connected to the
electricity grid, but they are not grid tied inverters.

TR Series Inverter Chargers supercede the Xantrex
DR series, and are an economical power conversion
solution designed to provide dependable modified
sine wave electricity to essential circuits
in the home or business during a power outage. They
can also be used in conjunction with a generator or
any renewable energy source in an off-grid
application. In addition to providing new features,
the Trace Series improves on the key features that have
made the DR Series the most robust and reliable inverter
charger line for backup power and off-grid applications.

Hybrid Inverter/Charger is a true sine

to AC inverter, a battery charger,
and an AC auto-transfer switch.

Simplified controls with a snap-on cover that
protects settings from being accidentally changed.
Better thermal performance allows full output
power to 50°C (122°F) without de-rating.
High surge capacity starts more difficult loads
and handles overload conditions reliably.
Circuit boards are conformally-coated to protect
them from corrosion for longer life & improved
reliability.
